PHARMASWISS S.A. EXPANDS SHAREHOLDER BASE:
HBM BIOVENTURES AS NEW MINORITY SHAREHOLDER

Zug, July 10th, 2007 --- PharmaSwiss S.A., a Switzerland-based holding company with pharmaceutical businesses across Central and Eastern European countries, Greece and Israel announced the expansion of its shareholder base today. HBM BioVentures, a major investor in pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies worldwide, has become a minority shareholder in PharmaSwiss S.A. Petr Nemec and Stuart Swanson, the two founders of PharmaSwiss S.A., will continue to hold the majority of shares in the company.
